Four star OL Jean Delance from Texas says no to OU commit after the racist frat remarks become public....

Why would you decommit from a school just because of literally a handfull of frat guys? I mean, the school handled the situation really well. Seems like the guy was just looking for an excuse.

Maybe he's had his fill of the Confederacy and would like to come to the land of equality and freedom?

that was a very jarring video. I've never used the n word and I certainly can't imagine being around people that do.

Pretty silly reason to decommit. I'm pretty sure you could find racism at about every university in America if you looked hard enough

I'm sure some degree of racism exists everywhere. After living in the south for 10 years, I can say that below the Mason Dixon line it exists at a different level. Incredibly, some SEC schools didn't 'allow' black players on their teams as late as 1968. Schools like ISU can say differently.

He's committed to 'Bama.

Irony, I love you.

Truly. The George Wallace legacy and 50th anniversary of the march in Selma, Alabama.

The Sooner state has a handful of amateur racists compared to the real pros in Alabama and Mississippi.

BTW, I don't think this is why he decommited, just the excuse.

From what I've read he was saying soon after his commitment that it was a spur of the moment thing. It certainly looked like he was looking for a graceful way out of it.

Yeah it's just an excuse.
