I'm not sure that he's even charged with a violation of Iowa Code, but rather an Ames City ordinance. Iowa Code uses the term "Gatherings Where Controlled Substances Are Used" and not "Drug House".
Based on the three charges showing, I'm guessing that there was someone who wasn't BDJ smoking weed in his apartment. BDJ would have been likely charged with possession of marijuana and not "Drug House". Or at least in addition to it. He probably ran his mouth to the cop, so the cop arrested him on this BS charge, which he would have had probable cause for (since there likely was someone smoking weed in his house).
He shouldn't miss a minute of tomorrow night for it, IMO. I'd say the same if it was an Iowa player.
