I saw him on campus and talking with some friends apparently he has put on a ton of weight (good weight) for the move to tight end. He for sure has the body to be a great tight end piece.

If only we could move another athlete *coughRe-AlCough* to a new position....Or at the very least utilize his strengths at his current position.
I've used similar lines regarding attractive women...
I don't really want to see him move, maybe just used a little at other positions. Still a decent chance he is pretty good where he is at. Not enough playing time to figure that out. There were certainly games where ISU was ahead or not moving the ball well where it would have been fun to see him get some snaps. Pretty frustrating as a fan, but coaches know what is best.
This staff has been really successful at moving guys to new positions. Dean has the size and athleticism develop into a good TE.
I reserve the right to complain, but in the end I realize I don't know ^$^%. Just get frustrated when things don't go well and you know there are dynamic players on the sideline. It is a lot easier to be a fan than a coach, for sure.
I wonder what that means? I know he is a big kid, but that is just part of being a TE. Does he have good speed? I remember him doing some running in HS.
He did run; as a senior he ran for over 500 yards and 4 TDs.

He hasn't officially announced his intentions to stay or go. Deadline to commit to the 2020 Draft is January 24th. We'll known by then.
Im pretty sure the only reason this being brought back up was bc CMC answered a question about why he took 2 QB's.
Just my personal opinion, but that's doubtful. He's a great pass catcher, but probably needs to improve his blocking to optimize his draft position.
He was already listed as a TE a few months ago on the roster. I posted when it happened.
