Thanks for the response. Red Chillez looks interesting and worth a try. Persis Biryani is our go to Indian place, but it'd be nice to find one we like on the way to Ames. Do you mean Pho 85? (I only ask because there is Pho 888 in Des Moines.)
I don't know if you brought up Persis Biryani intentionally, but Red Chillez has the same owner. I very much recommend them.

Maybe this has been mentioned but this image for the meeting agenda seems to indicate that the McFarland Clinic is not part of Goldenrods development efforts? (The red square on Jack Trice Way) Maybe that was common knowledge but just wanted to verify if that's true. I'm guessing McFarland is building this out of their pocket?

I curious where they plan to move the gameday tents to once the hotel starts/is built.

He didn’t suggest moving it now

Ankeny would be much more like Iowa City now had it been a college town since 1858
Explain why that is please? I see no reason why it would be any better than Ames right now. IC/Coralville is a different situation than both Ames and Ankeny. Being in close proximity to DM would have possibly changed it into a urban campus rather than what it I'd.

I would not want that. As much as I don't think Cherokee would have been a better place for itv either.

Please comment if you'd like.

And the owner is a huge dildo. You even get to pay his new “inflation fee”.

Just change prices of the products. Nobody will care if you move the price of every item up 5 cents. People will care if you charge them a random fee. Guy is supposed to be a good business man but this seems like a stupid business decision that won’t make much money per customer anyway and will turn some customers off

It’s grandstanding.
