Side question: does anybody know how they calculate the spread with the odds or are they determined separately. I ask this because Cal is projected to win by 19.5 and you still get $.91 on the dollar for picking them to win. That seems like a ton for a projected blowout.

I'm hesitant to bet it because when there's ever a highly questionable line or odds, it always seems to go the opposite of what you think the obvious choice is. The problem is, they are contradicting each other.

Typically the oddsmakers are pretty good at what they do, but we're talking about CW here

That answers my question. The Hawaii vs Cal odds were so weird because they're wrong. All of the betting odds are 110/100. Everybody in on the glitch before it gets corrected!
