Bitcon is ridicules. I can't wait for better coins to faze it out. These transaction fees are getting out of hand. Ethereum cost less than a dollar to do a transaction.

I think this is key and I will be paying attention to which currencies are the most useful, secure, easy to use and liquid. Probably will have to look at a couple. Bitcoin has an advantage being first but its not useful with $30 fees to do anything.

Who is now a millionaire and probably already made more money than any of his HS teachers. At least his two PhD parents were smart enough to allow him to do his own thing.

He's a rich kid who had every advantage handed to him to start. He was born on third and thinks he hit a home run. I wouldn't read too much in to it.

Looks like he stole home when Lester was on the mound.

He doesn't even have a GED. He was probably too creative for school.

Serious question, has that kid actually cashed out and now has actual millions of dollars, or does he just have a lot of "on paper" worth? I've heard that it's hard to get very large sums of bitcoin turned into real cash.

Edit: I've read that people are able to get a few 10s of thousands out pretty easy but has anyone ever actually pulled $100k out to buy a nice car, or $500k for a big house, etc? I've heard that it's much less liquid than more traditional forms of investing for that kind of thing.

It’s not hard and people are actually using them to buy things like cars.

GPU mining is pretty profitable right now. I'm mining and holding various coins as there is no telling which coin will establish itself as the leader in this space.

Everything rallied this morning. I was up about 200$ on my Bitcoin cash this morning

IVE MADE SO MUCH IN ONE DAY!!

I’ve told myself that I can’t look at the prices but like twice a day so I don’t go insane. Hell my purchases aren’t even verified until Jan 3rd.

Have you sold any yet or hanging tight?

I think I'm going to hold on for a bit. Im hoping Bitcoin cash can hit 4k then maybe sell a little. By 6pm I'll be even and then down 50$ by 9pm. It's insane. Id like to see ethereum dip down to 500$ or less an buy some. Ripple and iota are super cheap right now but are a gigantic pain in the ass to buy. I have about 1k invested total. Not sure I have the balls to do more. Just having some fun now.

I don’t plan on selling anytime soon. Doesn’t even show I have money yet as it will take 10 days to “proceess”. Ah well, needed to happen.
It's insane how much traffic these sites are getting. I didn't seem to have any problem a few weeks ago. I know a few people who have done it in the last week and are having similar issues as you.

You can buy those coins on https://www.binance.com but cant buy with USD. You have to buy them with bitcon, bitcon cash or Ethereum. I'd suggest Ethereum because of the low fees
I appreciate that. That sucks you can't use a debit card for it yet. Ripple is 1.15 this morning. I hear it has potential of $20(certainly optimistic). That's a hell of a return. Even hitting 5$ or $10 would be good.
