Is a crowd thread going to be started anytime this team loses at home? Is that why we lost in the first round last March?
Haha that was entertaining. I think I heard "********" about 10 times through the tv as clear as day.
Yep, school policy needs to be changed and get the cheerleaders in the stadium. The old people in the student section must cheer or not get a seat. Looks like conference will have at least one or two home games while school is out of session. Leath needs to change instead of seeking the almighty dollar.
Being at the game, it does change the atmosphere. It felt like a road game. If you are one of the people sitting in the student section, not cheering and making noise, stay the **** home next time.
Yes, Iowa State is now 30-2 at home since playing KU in 2014, but Hilton sucks.
Hilton is not a great home court without students but the quoted post is pretty dumb.
When was the last time you've been to a game? I'll I see you do is bash hilton. Clearly you haven't been to a game in a long time.
The crowd had nothing to do with this.
If this team needs a crowd to beat an un-ranked Baylor team that had not won on the road all year, in Hilton......they don't deserve to be playing on a Division I, P5 team.

2 years ago. Was at every game in Fred's first 4 years.
My problem is I probably hold Hilton to the standard in the early 2000's. Man I miss those days.

I suppose the crowd could have cheered when Baylor made a shot. That would have made them louder.
I always thought Bruce was the culprit for really hurting the Magic...didn't he make it so the not so rowdy bunch could take over the lower bowl?
Videos of early 90's games make it look absolutely insane in Hilton; the crowd looks like a complete mess in a good way
Either way, the crowd can't be blamed. And it's hard to get excited about watching a team give up 60 points in a half.
Let's not act like our students didn't have the ability to buy $5 tickets. Only difference is KU's show up during break and ours don't.
Just got back from the game... no student section absolutely kills hilton.. it's pretty sad when u are in a big 12 game and players and coaches have to continuously raise their hands up and down to get the crowd going. The students ignite everyone, especially on defense.
And the same goes for people sitting at home, b*tching about crowd noise. The students weren't there, all those tickets were up for you to buy. If its really the reason we lost, and you're so much better of a fan than them, buy a ticket and go.
I believe their student section was still full of students. I could be wrong though. Their crowd was great (for a #1 vs. #2 matchup on a Monday night, which is hard to compare to #13 vs. unranked on an afternoon, but still great).
