Pretty interesting read here from Paul Clark and Yancy McKnight. The article is free content. These lines are pretty encouraging:

Every year is different but this is a focused group. It's easy to sit here and say it was our best off-season, but it was. Best off-season we've had to date.

On Saturday mornings from nine to noon we have open weight room. It's about, and it's been this way for four years, it's about 95 percent attendance on Saturdays

Foot fire, hit the ground with stomach, pop back up on your feet and foot fire again, and repeat until they say stop. They can be brutal.

Thanks, FC. I realize now that I know what they are, didn't know that was a name for 'em. From the link:

"There's accountability for guys if they do the wrong movement or don't touch a line or whatever, it's up-downs for their whole group." . . .

"We had a record this morning for least amount of up-downs for a workout, with 19." . . .

"We had a pretty good handful that stayed over spring break this year and worked out a lot. It was evident today, guys came back and broke a four-year record as far as (fewest) sets of up-downs for a team."
