Cord cutting options

Not sure why CBS Sports Network isn't on Paramount plus or at least has say a $9.99 ala carte option......something. You literally have to buy an $80 plus package from a streaming service or cable provider to get this channel.

The same reason ESPN/2/U/News aren't part of ESPN+. They can't break contracts with carriers who've paid them for those channels

Anyone else see where YTTV may cut CBS and 22 other channels? Started watching Hollywood Squares and it came up at the bottom of the screen.

They're not cutting anything. Paramount is renegotiating its carriage contract with YTTV

I believe it's possible to watch live CBS Sports Network as an app (at least on my android phone) for free.

Cable providers used to pull this bs too. Usually the networks would threaten before something big like the Olympics. Use it as a bargaining chip. They'd get their higher fee, the cable company would use that as an excuse to raise your rates.

Everybody wins, except you!

You have to have to sign in with your provider to access CBS sports network on the CBS sports app.
Odd.. I watched a game earlier this year and was switching back and forth on the Tech/ASU game right now until the moment you mention I need to log in with a provider.

My work around was to sign in with a code from my friends YouTube TV when she was over. Worked great butt the problem with CBS sports app is that you have to sign in every time you try to access CBS sports network. It doesn't save "borrowed" information like ESPN or Fox sports app does.

So….it’s now Feb 14th. Are Paramount and YTTV back in love with each other?

Seems they are back to first base.
