Hope they keep everyone together. With a little more discipline on D, I think Nevada would be a really dangerous team playing a good power conference team. Seriously Caroline did a beast mode thing for awhile. Very athletic guy - of course his dad was in the NFL for awhile as was his grandpa, so kind of makes sense. Luckily our guys have seen that type of athleticism this year multiple times, but I could see how he owned other teams this year.

There is no reason Illinois should be that bad with Chicago in their backyard. I know Chicago recruiting is a dirty game, but still
Not that I claim to know anything there, but if the staff sucks at evaluating talent then that stuff gets through the cracks or could just be a late bloomer.
most of Nevada's team are seniors or possibly going pro (Oliver). They will likely struggle next year so it would make sense for Musselman to go somewhere else. Nevada definitely belonged in the tournament. I wouldn't have said the same for Iona last year.
Good game, didn't feel comfortable until about 40 seconds to go. A different 5 team, like minny, and you guy said are probably moving on. Definitely a team desreving To be in.
Sad thing is that they don't go to DePaul anymore either. That program went straight down the toilet the past 20 years or so.

Out of the 17 people on the active roster, only 3 are seniors. Even if 2 tried to go pro, you return most of your players.
Champaign has possibly one of the biggest trailer parks I have ever seen. And not like a trailer court that's blue collar people and they have a newer chevy truck and a 72" smart TV that cost a couple Gs. I'm talking about the kind of place where you need to be ready to throw down at any moment kind of trailer park. I passed through there a few weeks back and from a raised part of I-74, It looked like that thing went for a miles. Just sayin'.
Illinois has a great stadium to watch a college football game from though. Really nice tailgating set up as well. That concrete basketball dome is pretty cool too I guess.
Curious how the new arena right on the very south edge of downtown might help with recruiting. I doubt it will but hey, you never know. There's a 5 star recruit who is actually still in the game for DePaul somehow.
Thanks for being a great sport. Nevada is an awesome team. I think if you guys had a couple more quality players coming off the bench you definitely wouldn't be going home the first round.
Well you have to remember only 6-7 of those players usually play
