That's such ******** reasoning. Of course there's plenty of other things that could have happened. That doesn't excuse a blatantly obvious missed call that cost a team a chance at the super bowl
Now this is a solid argument, the pass on first down especially was incredibly stupid. Had they run on first and second I could forgive a pass on third. No doubt a horrible missed call, but Payton deserved it for how poorly he called those plays down there.
I was in the car during it and had to listen to satellite radio. It was on the Rams home network. All 3 of their announcers said that should have been called. The one on the sideline said the ref started to pull his flag and then stopped.
If that was ISU, every single person on this board would be saying the game was stolen from us, regardless of what happened in the rest of the game. And rightfully so.
I am so worked up about that no call and I had no dog in the fight (I did bet on the Saints but won enough other bets today that I didn't care that much). If that happened to the Clones, I think I'd be just as pissed as I was after the K State game
As a Bengals fan, I'm pretty sure I'd feel the same way as you if it happened to the Steelers. You’re right - as a Cyclone, if that happened to us, I’d be pissed, and have been a number of times. But this isn’t the Cyclones, it’s the Saints. And as a Falcons fan, **** the Saints. A referee screwjob couldn’t have happened to a better team IMO.
He’s money in the playoffs******* Tom Brady...
I can’t imagine. It would be much worse than the KSU game imo.
