Yes. Bollers wasn’t seriously considering Iowa, so Iowa decided it would be mutually beneficial to go their separate ways. IMO that article was just a way for the Bollers’ to take some heat off TJ for not wanting to go to Iowa.

This is actually true. I said way before that article Iowa wasn't a player and got mocked for it. Funny thing is the reason he didn't want to go to Iowa was because of an offensive coach nobody in his circle liked

Ah, got it. Weird he still seemed pretty miffed that none of the Iowa coaches showed up to watch his basketball game. I do think ISU has a good chance at landing him. Would be a big get.

He was at almost every home game this fall. The recruits sit fairly close to my seats. There's a disconnect between his father and the current staff and he's not a 4-3 DE and I don't think Iowa is changing over to that anytime soon.

Wisconsin has a pretty good history of developing LB's for that defense and getting them to the next level. I think it's harder to recruit 4-3 DL vs the 3-4 in the midwest. There are more 3-4 LB body types around than 4-3 DL types if that makes any sense and it's worked out well for the Badgers. I wouldn't be surprised if Iowa went that route in the near future but as long as Phil Parker is at Iowa, I doubt it.

The reason he's not going to Iowa has nothing to do with the 4-3. Iowa State sees him as a DE and so does Northwestern

I'd read that he was looking for a 3-4 or something like that, didn't fit Iowa's scheme. Yeah I don't see us going to a 3-man D front anytime soon.

No lol. He wasn’t interest in them, THEN they stopped contacting him.

It’s not mutual when one person says they aren’t interest, aka Bollers told Iowa thanks but no thanks
Didn't you tell me once that you weren't considering Kate Beckinsale so you mutually parted ways and she moved onto that SNL guy?

Would be massive. But as I originally posted when this entire thread started, this entire thread will be a giant kick to the nuts when he picks Wisconsin lol

Not that it's really that big of news, but the Hawkeye insiders from 247 changed their crystal balls the last few weeks to Wisconsin. Again, not really big news as I think Iowa State is on the outside looking on this one. I would literally be flabbergasted if he chooses ISU

Plenty of good players out there. I'm not the least bit concerned where he goes to school.

He went to an invite only summer camp at ND and really enjoyed what he saw there.

Why do people not think Alabama is a favorite? Seems odd since they're arguably the best program in the country.

Appears Notre Dame is recruiting him as a DE as well. Are the Badgers in the lead because he wants to play LB?

They came in late and he never got to visit. I understand what you’re saying, but they have A LOT of ground to make up on Wisconsin. Honestly I would call them all but a lock at this point.

CyTwins got the real intel while he was doing his “friends and family” call with TJ last week. Thank god he gives us the real scoop.

I think we have a really good shot but could you really blame the kid for going to Wisconsin though? Seems like they get one of those rush line backers drafted high every year.
