Personally think the clones are better than #20. it is really going to be close to keep the consecutive weeks ranked streak going if the clones can't go 2-0 in games this week. They have a better resume than a number of teams ahead of them, but still hanging in there and hopefully still re-gelling.

Eh makes sense. We have 9 losses. Even though we lost to a higher ranked team on the road and took care of business at home...you'd think we'd just stay put.

I hope we can win enough more games to get a #3 seed in the NCAA tournament. I prefer being on the opposite side of #1 (unless we are it). It sure would be nice to get a nearby placement, such as St. Louis.

With backs against the mythical top 20 wall, lets see how the fellas respond

Doesn't make any sense that they dropped. Lost to the number 9 team on the road, a team that was favored yet they drop? Makes no sense. Voters show they have no brains. And Baylor should not be ahead of them. Their wins aren't impressive and they will likely get swept by KU and OU while ISU split with those two. I wouldn't be shocked if they lost to WVU as well. It will all work out though. What matters is seeding not polls and ISU is still in line for a 4 seed

Duke loses to Pitt and falls two spots while Kentucky loses to Vandy and drops 6 spots. Yeah that makes sense

Nah, losing at KU shouldn't drop us much, but we're going to win, so it'll be a non-issue.

Probably just another case of mixing us up with the Hokeyes! :jimlad:

I disagree, Baylor swept us this year and is one game better in Big 12 play to date.

You gotta understand these voters, they just look at previous ranking, and past weeks record, to decide where to move teams. I'll guarantee over 50% of them couldn't tell you who Iowa St played last week.

At this point, I just want to finish out the season in the top 25, to continue the streak. I believe there's just two more polls this year, one next Monday, then the end of the year. So going 1-1 this week, may make it kind of iffy next week, but should be ok, and obviously hope we don't bite it early in the tournament.

Tracking fior a five seed. Those are tough games.

1-1 this week? You think we're gonna lose tonight?!?

It's not about head to head. Duke beat UNC and they shouldn't be ahead of UNC. Michigan State is behind Indiana in standings but ranked a lot higher. Iowa State right now has a better resume than Baylor.
