This sucks. But at least we still have Clanton.

What this tells me is that Cooke is going to be getting minutes next year and Custer wasn't going to see the floor.

Yes, once Hallice committed I always felt this would be the case. It was good for Clayton to come in and compete and see how he and the staff would project him next year and beyond. Better for him to find a better fit and RS this year than sit and burn eligibilty not playing next year. Tough to see him go but, probably the best situation for all parties.

My first thought was Wichita State, then my second thought was not Wichita State because Gregg Marshall won't be coach there in two years.

Maybe Iowa gets involved :twitcy:

Was really looking forward to watching him possibly take over the team once Monte leaves. Looked like he had a great work ethic (Being at the games 2 hrs beforehand you get to watch guys get early work in). Wish him the best and hope to see him succeed wherever he goes.

Why in holy hell would anybody want to get to the game this early? I get inside the building 5 minutes before tip and love it.

I would love to see him at UNI, what with them losing 5 or 6 seniors this year. Although I suppose Fred wouldn't allow it, considering we play them a couple more times during Clayton's remaining eligibility.

Don't really know why anyone wants to see him at Wichita. Bit of a logjam at the guard position.

I am in full agreement with those who would like to see Fred bring in a 5th year senior big. Would be great to find that Anthony Lee type that we missed out on last year.

I agree that losing Clayton doesn't have a dramatic impact on our team. Too deep at the guard position, not one of our better 3-4 guys who mostly all have at least 2 years of eligibility remaining.
