Finally a QB who isn’t mobile
Uh.... well, see, the thing on that is... Sorsby can run. He is actually pretty athletic.

He just would rather throw than run. He wants to stay in the pocket and throw. But to call him not mobile? Don't watch Cincinnati's 3rd touchdown.

He wants to throw. And he'll make dumb decisions at times.

But he can 100% run more than well enough.

It was pressure that made Sorsby make mistakes in the WVU game. He looked pretty good early before they pressured him imo. Going to be interesting as both teams practice against a similar defense.

need to get the offense coach to open playbook and give the players a chance to show their ability

with the way we've been playing, I'd say this is more advantage them than us.
They haven't exactly been lighting the world on fire lately. I watched a fair amount of their game against WVU and they were getting their doors blown off for most of that game and made it look closer than it actually was at the end like ISU did, and that was at home. I would guess their fanbase feels about the same as ours.

Unless this team finally figures out how to put a solid four quarters of football together I wouldn’t bet on them the rest of the way. Nine games in and we still see the same inconsistencies from players and coaches. Cincinnati is very capable. Even at home we showed during the last two home games we can pee down our leg.

Last chance to right the ship and move forward, this season is starting to remind me a lot of 2002, started out quickly with the loss in KC to FSU as the only defeat, went to OU ranked after winning I think 6 in a row and got blasted and never recovered and ended up 7-6.
Time for the team to step up and move forward, the path is only going to get tougher after Saturday.

The Line is -9. That's a pretty big line for a team coming off back to back losses and playing a team of similar caliber as the teams they've lost to. I take that as a really positive sign for Iowa State. I think ISU wins this by 3 scores, but I will of course wait for ISU to give up an early touchdown to make a bet to get a smaller line.
