I wouldn't go quite that far.

But I think he absolutely has to be in the discussion for one of the best transfers we've ever had, at least in recent history.

I would personally put him right up there with DeAndre Kane and Marial Shayok, and even ahead of some really good transfers like Will Clyburn.

Impact wise...Mt. Rushmore for sure, especially for not having a sit out year or anything.

Took a 2 win program to a very likely tourney appearance.

I could make a compelling argument that we haven’t seen another player that is single handedly the difference between a top 25 team and absolute bottom dweller.

There have surely been better players, but most have been surrounded with some kind of talent.

Best comparison for Brockington I have is Halliburton’s second year.

I think he’s better than Deandre Kane.

I agree here. Kane was fantastic, but he had the Big 12 player of the year playing with him in Ejim, plus Niang. I think that team would have had a good shot at the tournament without Kane. Without Brockington, this team would be nowhere near the tournament.

Kane also had a young point guard named Monte Morris that allowed him to play off the ball. Again, not taking away from Kane. But I think any reasonable fan agrees this is a good debate. IB is right up there.
