Kane also had a young point guard named Monte Morris that allowed him to play off the ball. Again, not taking away from Kane. But I think any reasonable fan agrees this is a good debate. IB is right up there.
The tough love that he gave mm was also huge part of monte’s development.

Probably more than 5, but not much more than 10. Guaranteed dead last in the conference and probably 1 of Memphis, Xavier, Iowa, Creighton if we’re lucky.
Well. Didn't he not score much of anything when Gabe went off on Xavier? So yeah at least one of those

Basketball is a lot more complicated than that. He had 9 points, 4 boards, 2 blocks, and a steal. Plus, he went off the game prior which I’m sure changed the defensive approach for Memphis (think you’re mixing Brooklyn games - Gabe went off on Memphis, IB in Xavier). He also played lock down defense on Memphis who quit VERY early in that game because they are soft snd out of shape.

You're right I mixed them up.

I think the true test will be tourney time. A deep run strengthens your argument. Any win after the sweet sixteen is exponential.

Who beats him

He is great no doubt. But if I absolutely needed a bucket against elite competition its fizer all day every day.

Georges day in day out did more. Jeff Grayer. Royce White. Hes getting there but hes got more to go before guys like Jeff Hornecek. Barry Stevens kane and Fred. You haven't been a Cyclone fan long have you.

I will say if he can be that efficient regularly and be a threat to finish at the rim he's got a chance to be up there. He's got to maintain at least an above average finish at the rim to have games like this on the regular.

Offense isn't the only thing that matters, which btw he's pretty good at.

That was a mini-Jordan performance. If he were 6-6, holy crap.
That's it..been trying to think who I'd compare his midrange game to. Very Jordan! Defense is comparable too. Not saying he's Jordan but think he'll have a nice NBA career.
