Chili Beans or no Beans

The cold weather OT thread kind of turned into a debate on whether beans should or should not be in chili. So it's poll time to see where the majority lies. I'm in the beans should be in camp. I don't like a ton in there but there has to be some.

for real. I had no idea there were so many legitimate, passionate, 100% not fake bean-free chili lovers on this site.
