We are going to need to get used to this.

If you thought it was a cluster **** attempting to evaluate football teams this fall, wait until March and they have to try and do it when teams might miss a dozen or more games than some common opponents.

At least there are conference tournaments to hash it out some. For now, anyway.

Why can't we have games against the better teams cancelled? We need to play these kind of games in the worst way to gel as a team.

Currently 2-4 and 0-2 in conference.. remaining schedule now with 17 games left:

#2 Baylor twice
#3 Kansas twice
#7 West Virginia once
#10 Texas twice
#15 Texas Tech twice

Thats 9 games against teams currently ranked in the top 15.

Remaining games:
@ KSU, @ OU, @ MS ST, @ OSU, @ TCU

vs OSU, vs OU, vs TCU.

So 14 of our remaining 17 games are either against top 15 teams or are on the road.
There’s a legitimate chance this team wins 4/5 games and goes something like 4-19 or 5-18.

1 win against Chicago State isn’t going to change the perception of the season. I’m pretty confident we avoided a loss against DePaul, so I guess it’s a wash now.
