It's a college town, Matt White. It is loud every where on every day of the week.

He's making a big deal of it because of who the loud person is. If it was an apartment of 4 girls that loved to party I bet he wouldn't called them in.

someone from LA with a totally different background and culture is probably pretty threatening (in the sense of not understanding something). an apartment of four girls from some small Iowa town is a completely different situation.
 
So do any other neighbors complain or just old man McGillicutty?

Seriously though, I wonder if this has been ongoing with just one neighbor being the issue and cops tired of dealing with it, and BDJ and crew being dicks to the neighbor for calling the cops all the time?

Yeah, seems it would be great for all parties to get away from each other.

When someone is arguing to police about trash practices in a college town, it's not a reconcilable situation. We will travel at the speed of light and cure cancer before there are college neighborhoods and apartments that don't have disgusting trash issues. I think raccoons outnumbered humans in my neighborhood in Ames the students were so bad at taking care of their trash...guess they should have all been cuffed and jailed.

Reading facebook comments, his old neighbor said that they had to call him in on loud music late at night multiple times as well. It seems he might just be an *******.

I don't know about that. A geek like him would never get invited over so out of pure jealousy he probably would have called the cops on them as well. Basically this White kid is a huge loser.

I can understand noise complaints anywhere. The trash thing, he needs to not live around college students. That's the thing that makes me think he's a crybaby. I got pi$$ed at my own roommates about trash, never thought about bringing the cops or their professors in on it to manage the situation. I'd venture to guess no non-star-athletes have ever had trash related issues make the paper.

His old neighbor called the cops on BDJ or his old neighbor had the cops called on them for noise by this same Matt White kid?
 
I just graduated from college 2 years ago. There's an understanding that if a neighbor comes over and asks you to be quieter you turn the music down a little bit and then if he ever comes over and asks you to turn your music down you do the same. At 3 o clock in the morning during dead week the expectation would be near silence almost anywhere you live in Ames. It's not anarchy, there's common decency.

Filing a noise complaint against someone for repeatedly playing loud music absolutely does not make him a loser.

Exactly, what the hell is wrong with these people. What happened to being a good person and not annoying the crap out of your neighbors because you wanna listen to wu tang clan at 3AM. How about no being so lazy that you cant carry your trash out?

Not chastising either, that's honestly part of the reason. Especially if Matt White is like most wrestlers I've encountered in my life
 
Matt White? Anyone think he might have a brother in Iowa City? Regardless, snitches get stitches. What a loser. I could seeing being upset with a neighbor about noise and other things, but would never conceive of calling the police. Especially over a dozen times in 4 months.
