They looked that way last year in a rebuild and so far I've not seen much out of their coach/program to not like.
2 of them with the overturned WVU TD. If that was a forward pass, how was it not an illegal forward pass past the line of scrimmage? Home cooked reffing is going to make sure Texas stays in the Big 12 race.
How in the heck do you overturn that when the camera is at an angle from the play when the official who ruled it a backward pass was right on the play square? I've said it once and I'll say it again, Texas benefits from replay more than anyone in the country.
exactly. We just started laughing. Never seen a team benefit from wrong replay calls more than Texas. The fact they lose any games with the officials in their pocket like they are is amazing
I do think it was probably the right call but there was zero angle that showed it. Those plays are always so tricky
Keyword "think". "Think" is not supposed to overturn calls. We always say "indisputable" but we see that term used subjectively to benefit (and likewise screw over) certain teams year after year. The officials have just learned to not do screwy calls late in the game anymore where it gets the most publicity (ISU vs Texas 2013).
