*** CFB Championship Week Games Thread***

How did we lose by 48 to this team and only by 1 to the other? :(
You phrased this as a question, but I am going to say that that's a good "point."

In the end though, hopefully we get a new OC that gets our offense running on all cylinders.

I love that Alabama will somehow back door their way in. Espn money talks

I would normally agree with you, but its all about money. They would love to see an Bama - Georgia 1vs4 game.
If it’s about money they might want a fresh face in a massive state like texas. The ratings have dropped when it’s just bama playing rematches.

I think we see year after year after year that the Big 12 has a lot of good teams but no great teams. Several go on mini runs during the season but none are at the Top 5 level. OU usually puts an exclamation point on that when they do get in and get blown out.

FWIW, Alabama and Georgia did not play this year, so it is not as fresh of a re-match as Michigan vs. Ohio State would be. IMO, if Alabama and Ohio State both make it with Georgia and Michigan, they should have Georgia vs. Ohio State and Alabama vs. Michigan in the semis instead of a B1G Game and an SEC Game.

That being said, TCU ain't dead yet. Let's Go Frogs!

This is going to end up being a test run for the SEC and B10 to see if they want to split off an do their own playoff.

SEC has more than two good teams. Probably hard to grasp.
I can understand the SEC love because they do go deep. But in 2022, I think Georgia is in a class by itself within the SEC.

Bama, Tennessee, LSU are really good teams but being rated between 6-12 is appropriate. The SEC does a great job with it's 8 game conference schedule to limit in conference upsets.

For me this season is the classic reason for an 8 or 12 team playoff. Other than Georgia, I don't think there is a clearly dominant team this season.

Except I bet that both of these teams destroy their bowl opponent. Which will be argued as teams that should've been in the CFP. Hopefully KSU gets Bama, LSU, or Tennessee.

If that’s the case it’s just going to be an all SEC championship again, but I don’t believe a two loss bama is getting in
