*** CFB Championship Week Games Thread***

The way I see it, is Georgia, Michigan, and TCU are all in the playoff unless they are totally blown out today, and even then, maybe.

All three are undefeated, and even with a loss, would only have one loss, every other team would have two.

All three would have the much needed 13 data point. The committee has to reward teams that play an extra game over teams that are at home this weekend.

USC losing last night only opened the door to get jumped by OSU, no way two loss Alabama or 3 loss LSU gets in, nor 2 loss Clemson.

USC's loss last night, made all three games today nothing but bragging rights for a conference championship.

TCU will get throttled in the CFP (if they even win today).... and it will only add to the media's hatred of the Big 12.

We haven’t had a top 4 team all season. Balanced good but great league and TCU took care of biz most consistently.

The B10 is horrifically unbalanced but two conferences for four spots probably makes most sense in this small playoff format.

I hate them, but also admire them. They are the opposite of us. They have less talent, but do everything right in the margins and details to win games. We have more talent (except for OL probably), but lose games in the margins and details. KSU is very well coached.... ISU not so much.
I'm jealous no doubt. Which is another reason I hate them. Plus their fanbase is so similar to the Hawk's.

If tcu loses, does Alabama sneak in with Ohio State?
They shouldn't, but they might.
Saying this as a part-time Alabama fan.
If chaos happens, Tennessee OR LSU deserve it over Alabama.

However, I think if it is Alabama vs. a team from a different conference, I think Alabama would be favored over every team on a neutral field, and that is something they do care about.

Personally, I hope TCU wins and Michigan loses to Purdue and Georgia loses to LSU. Then, whatever happens, happens.

Rooting for the Frogs! I also want Duggan to win the Hesiman!

Stop moving the goal posts. OSU isn’t dropping when the team ahead lost and no one right behind them is winning. You said TCU would be out with a loss and even suggested a 3 loss LSU could get in. So if TCU loses and gets in either put up or shut up.

I’ve been talking about the exact same thing for a year with you and you can’t see it or don’t want to. You want to make it exclusively about Covid when the Covid year was just part of the saga of the OSU committee.

The moving goal post is the magic number of preferred games that always seems to be exactly whatever Ohio State has. Your committee did this, the committee sucks some years and really was just a big ten committee that year. Some years they do fine because it’s easy.

I never said TCU is guaranteed out with a loss, they certainly aren’t safe with a loss. I myself wouldn’t put them in with a loss. I’d have seeded them #3 the year they got screwed and I’d have voted them #1 in AP poll that year.

I think the SEC should get 2 in with a TCU loss for same reason big 12 basketball should easily get 7-8 into big dance out of 10 past few years.

You never said that TCU is out with a loss? Who posted this on your account then?

Because both conferences get overhyped?

Both deliver. TCU lost by a point to #1 seed in OT last year. They’d have been 5 seed or better had they played in the easy major conferences. With the 13-0 start ISU could’ve easily been a 4 or 5 seed in most conferences and embarrassed big ten champ in a road game.

SEC has same credentials in big fb games.

From K-State radio: Both Malik Knowles and Ekow Boye-Doe have been ruled out for the 2H.
