*** CFB Championship Week Games Thread***

Yep... no chance for LSU to get in at this point. Even if they somehow curb stomped Georgia. You can't just throw out the resume's because of one game.

Personally... I want all 4 of the top teams to lose. USC has already done their job.... TCU is now losing too. Then need Michigan and Georgia to lose also. Although I think Michigan and Georgia probably make it win or lose today.

I just want complete chaos. Teams should not get punished by losing in their championship game IMO, but it happens. tOSU and Alabama don't have to win another game today.... that's garbage that they can backdoor it in.
Alabama should be disqualified with 2 losses and it's not like they have a bunch of great wins. Few good wins but nothing eye opening. I think you could argue Ohio State over USC at this point. The other 3 should pretty much be locked in for everything you just said. You can't forget the 12 games that preceeded this weekend

You’d have a point if it were only one year. TCU got dropped 3 spots for only playing 12 games. Care to bet me a billion dollars Ohio State won’t drop 3 spots for 12 game schedule in final week?

I don’t think TCU is top 4 worthy this year anyway if they lose this. The year they got screwed I’d have voted them #1 in final poll.
But that year the Big 12 didn’t have a conference championship, this year they do. That year OSU had the same number of losses, this year Bama has one more loss than TCU.

If TCU loses, I definitely think it’s possible OSU jumps them for 3rd. But I still think TCU would stay at 4th over Bama (as long as this game stays close)

Even if they pull it out I have a hard time seeing TCU as actual top four. Big 12 was just so balanced and TCU was most buttoned up. I think entire conference was probably 15-40 range. I mean as bad as our year was we were in every game until last one where wheels fell off.
Not easy to go 9-0 when there's no bad teams though. It works both ways. Their win at Texas with Ewers and way game played out was a lot more impressive than Alabamas imo

TCU is back on its heels. Got to weather the storm and get to halftime. Or what us ISU fans refer to as “the second quarter”

It's like people have forgotten that K-State had a 28-24 lead in the first meeting (in Fort Worth) when Howard got hurt and all it went to ****.

OSU passed them that year because they win their championship game easily and added another ranked win to the resume. OSU won’t get dropped because no one around them won their championship game. This isn’t hard?

Nah that’s bs. Ohio State beat a turd and played same number of power conf teams. TCU had better sos and sor before bowls. TCU’s only loss was on the road vs top ten losing from a blown call. Ohio State’s loss was at home to a 6 win team.

The committee was loaded w big ten homers as it always is.

I hate KSU so much. Every time they are in the championship it costs the Big XII money.

I hate them, but also admire them. They are the opposite of us. They have less talent, but do everything right in the margins and details to win games. We have more talent (except for OL probably), but lose games in the margins and details. KSU is very well coached.... ISU not so much.

That turd they beat was still ranked 12, which if the committee ranked them that it has to be respected.

Again if you’re so confident put some donation money on it.

It's hard because TCU didn't do anything to not be in besides not playing one more game.
The '13th data point' wasn't criteria until after tOSU throttled WI.

If anything it was a very early indication that 4 teams wasn't enough while at the same time brand was more important than what the team actually did.

Just wait until the trends of rankings when this thing expands to 12 teams.

Just when I say this.... they look an awful lot like ISU on that 4th and 1.... except they did go under center.

Good news is that just like with March madness that 12/13th spot won’t be expected to actually have a chance at winning

K states offense is what ours should look like, so infuriating. They just keep tcu off balance perfectly.

Better line, better QB, better specialists.

What's infuriating is ISU getting two possessions laid at their feet at midfield in the last 5 minutes and doing virtually nothing with it vs. this team.
