I’d say this relationship between CBS Sports Channel and the Big12 is a smashing success.

The production is top-notch and announcers in the studio are prepared and professional.

After our game they broke it down, swinging from analyst to analyst with smart takes about the Cyclone team and the Big12.

This is so much better than what we’d get from ESPN and especially ESPN+.

Keep it going, Yormark.

Maybe it was just Xfinity, but the channel had long stretches of piss poor video quality. I had to turn it off for a while because it was so frustrating.

It’s nice to be able to watch a network that isn’t rooting for and contributing to your league’s downfall.

That football game on Saturday was some of the most indifferent commentary imaginable. The lazy, listless work from ESPN becomes more magnified on the rare occasions we’re on CBS like tonight.

Spot on assessment. Wife listened in on the post-game and stated, "ESPN never breaks it down like that, although ESPN+ will often show a post-game interview or two." Seems like a promising start.

The announcers are actually at the game unlike some of the ESPN games, I assume you meant the analysts at halftime.

It's definitely a breath of fresh air to have a product made by a company that isn't trying to squeeze every last drop of money out of a broadcast and will spend the extra cash to make the product what it should be.

Or a network that doesn’t spend half the broadcast promoting other upcoming games. Anyone that’s watching a bowl game knows that the CFP games start today. You don’t need to remind us every 5 minutes.

Has anyone found a replay? I checked the CBS Sports website and didn't see full replays of any games. I assume I am looking in the wrong spot.

Update - I did find a condensed game on YouTube.

I am guessing less and less Big 12 conference games on ESPN+ starting in the 2025-2026 season and running through 2031. I believe Fox enters the picture next year as well as games on TNT, TBS, and CBSSN. I would expect the lower non-conference games to still be on ESPN+ but very few conference games.

Being a huge contrarian, the excessive over-the-top hype just confirms for me, that I really don't care to watch.
