LOL Buc-ee's food blows Casey's out of the water. It's taken me a couple years to come around and accept it but Casey's Pizza is a shell of what it used to be.
Maybe I got the wrong thing then. I had a breakfast burrito that was just soggy and bland. Guess I’ll give it another chance next time I’m down that direction.
It’s a strategy though. Theres onot a handful of areas in the country where people have access to what I consider “premium” C-stores. Iowa and its bordering states are very lucky. Then the WaWa/Sheetz zone is nice. Most places are awful. So a ****** Casey’s might be a “wow” to a lot of people in certain areas.
Casey's pizza is a D grade at best. It makes Dominos seem top shelf.

True, but I think you get your money's worth compared to the over-breaded fingers Casey's puts out.
Agree. But I then just ask myself why I didn’t drive over to Caines instead. It’s $2 more to get fries and a drink.
The egg and brisket taco/burrito is solid and their breakfast croissants are huge and really good too. They actually make real scrambled eggs for their stuff and not those crappy egg beaters.
this is all in their plans to employ 95% of the methheads in the usa and also provide the world's worst toilet experience
My biggest questions will be whether or not the doors will be operational, and whether or not their pumps will think that my tank is full eventhough I've only put in one gallon.
I've given their brisket a shot on a few different occasions, and I just don't get why it's worth talking about at all. Sure, I suppose for Gas Station BBQ it's ok, but it's objectively not good and they sauce it to death to hide how bad it is.This thread has given me a hankerin for some Bucees Brisket.
The whole Buc-ees experience is one giant tourist trap, but it works well so more power to them.
Casey's pizza was legit good when they let the kitchens do their own thing. Now it's been really stripped down and very inconsistent. Plus their wages are sh!t so turnover is HUGE in an already turnover heavy industry.
What do you go to a gas station for?
Personally I stop get gas and grab a couple slices of pizza and a pop. That's all I really need and Casey's has that.
The nearest grocery store to me is 10 min. Kwik Trip is 2 min and they have a ton of necessities. I even tried their steak which was pretty solid. Their ready made pasta is also a great lunch option.
Casey's changed their inputs on their "by the slice" pizzas and cut them way back. If my option is two hammered thin pieces of Casey's pizza and a fountain drink for almost $9 or a stop at Kwik Star, I'm stopping at KS 10 times out of 10.
A few weeks ago there I had to move to three different pumps to find one that worked or took the card.
Personally I'd take Casey's 10 times out of 10 over Dominos
