I never cared that much but generally tried to keep up with the current decade anyway. I have some 'golf shorts' but also still have some cargos and some jorts that I'm still wearing. You really can't beat jorts for tough when you are hiking or doing yard work

No. Way too low and would shake your beer when walking. What you want is a fanny pack to hold that beer higher and not subject to the back and forth motion of your leg.

My first year on RAGBRAI some people I was riding with made fun of me because I had a huge fanny pack. They made fun of me until I showed its utility, that is. When we got some beer I was able to fit a full six pack of beer and ice in that fanny pack. Road beers made them go from hating on the giant fanny pack to giant fanny pack fans.

My remaining jorts are relegated to yard work. You won't see me out and about in them unless it is Lowe's, Menard's, Home Depot or Fleet Farm when I need to pick something up for the project I am working on.

Those are too no-show for me. Seems like the backs of the shoes rub against the backs of my ankles in most pairs of shoes.

Personally, I am not going to switch from my cargo shorts or my cammo shorts.

If I were to ever wear shorts like these, I'd have to kick my own ass.

Yeah, I tried the no-show socks but they're not for me either. I like the look but not the feel.
