Wait,CyJack/Bode doing things like they do.
Quite a snowball effect.

Edit: Now it all makes sense.

I have no proof but there's common themes. A simple question leads to wondering if the poster lives in reality.
We also talk about how dangerous of a sport football is, but there are a ton of other occupations that have a much higher risk of death than football does. Higher rates of injuries too. People talking about feeling bad about watching football can think about that a little bit. Read an article that said Logging is deadliest profession in America. Do we feel guilty about having stuff made of wood?
They won't ask for more time, that is just silly. What good would it even do?If the Players Association asks for more time, then I could see all games being cancelled this weekend and the playoff schedule moved back a week. But there is no way they cancel some games while playing others.
Snagging some essential oilsI have quite a few biases against chiropractors that I don’t need to get into. They were probably giving some massages
And they also like to get paid, which they often don't when they don't play the games. They’ve known the risks for a long long time.
I’m sure you see a lot of their patients after their chiropractor visit.I have quite a few biases against chiropractors that I don’t need to get into. They were probably giving some massages
We have no idea if he will be fine…
Personally only a couple but I’ve heard a lot of stories from others in the fieldI’m sure you see a lot of their patients after their chiropractor visit.
Ok I swear I’m not coming down on you but what makes you think “his chances are pretty good?” Just because they got to him quick? I literally had a patient die in the waiting room recently because he took a turn. This idea that because medical care is implemented in a timely manner that a patient will be ok is a stupid trope from TV that needs to stop. Yeah you’re right he could be ok. He could also die. He could also be alive but a vegetable or have limited brain function and never be the person he was. Even if my initial thoughts are correct and he has CC we don’t know **** about what his vitals are.I said probably. He isnt out of the woods, but they got to him quick. His chances are pretty good.
I'm not saying they will. My whole point is they wont just cancel the games that don't matter. If the players decide they are not comfortable playing this weekend (as @CyJack13 eluded to), the PA will push to have all the games cancelled. Either all the games get cancelled (which I doubt happens) or none of them get cancelled. They won't ask for more time, that is just silly. What good would it even do?
I have a question and I seriously don’t want to hear it from anyone that I am an anti-vaxxer because I’m not. But I have been taught that having questions propels research and research propels medical progress.
Statistically has there been an uptick in young people having cardiac events since the Covid vaccines were implemented? I don’t know what to believe honestly because there is a ton of misinformation out there obviously.
Glad to hear them being referred to as "athletic trainers" and not just "trainers". That's been a big push in the industry and academia to get broadcasters always refer to them as "athletic trainers" to make a clear differentiation between and avoid people thinking that athletic trainers are the same thing as personal/fitness trainers at the gym. There's a lot of education and training that goes into that field.Wow, didn’t know that. The NFL gets a lot of ****, much of it deserved, but they have planned for something like this even though it’s never happened. Kudos to them and they might have saved someone’s life. Usually it takes something worse before organizations are fully prepared.
Did the NHL or baseball cancel when the same things happened? Hell I remember when the Royals minor league coach died of a line drive to the head which happens every few years sadly.Oh I don't know, because all the players saw one of their own almost die on the field from a normal hit that happens tens of times every game. I'm sure I wouldn't be too fired up to go cover a kickoff five days after that happened.
