Believe it or not, it is possible to work out without being on a sports team. So he very well could be in shape.Bubu hasn't practiced and isn't in shape. No chance he plays anytime soon.

No, the team does not need another guard that cannot shoot consistently and cannot defend and cannot create.
Bubu may struggle shooting, but he can do the latter two better than what Naz and Thomas have shown.
Bubu Palo is a 3rd string guard at best and playing him would be a huge mistake. Hoiberg needs to give some of his young players more minutes or they are going to walk on him. I know that many won't care because it seems like there will be an endless parade of transfer players each year to come in and pick up the slack, but one of these days that is going to naturally backfire.
Hoiberg needs to develop at least some players this season and see them improve. Iowa State needs some of the Freshman to stick around and steadily improve going forward. Niang is a nice start to that, but guys who have some size and talent that should have at least developed by now like Gibson have been shoved to the end of the bench and seemingly gotten worse.
If this is going to be Hoiberg's job for the long haul, then he needs to realize that the rest of this season has to in part be spent developing guys like Dorsey-Walker and Thomas. They need time on the court to get better, and throwing Palo out there to take up those minutes isn't a wise move.
Especially with how much people have been ******** about Kane lately you would think they would want Bubu back asap. Bubu is the anti-Kane. He'll sit there, run the offense, slow the tempo when we need a rest, and his priority will be to get everyone else involved. It would be a good change of pace from what we have now. He's spent over twice as much time playing with Niang and Ejim than Kane or Morris.
At no point in his career has palo ever been as good as Morris has been the last few weeks.
Based on what I was hearing this summer, Bubu was playing well enough to start at PG. Based on what I've seen this year, Kane and Morris are better PG's than Bubu. But that isn't the real issue, the question is whether Bubu is as good or better than Long and Thomas? IMO those are the two guys he would take minutes from. Bubu isn't the 3 point shooter as those two, but he is a better on ball defender and can agressively go to the hole. It seems like CFH has been hesitant to start Morris,. IMO this opens the door for Morris to start and for Bubu to fill in for Morris. It allows Long and Thomas to be shooters off the bench to spell Kane or as part of the rotation where Kane spells Ejim or Hogue.
Go read Randy Peterson interview(twitter) where Bubu mentioned he has been practicing during his dismissal with Jack Sullivan in Ankeny(Kindgom Hoops).Bubu hasn't practiced and isn't in shape. No chance he plays anytime soon.
To lazy to read but if thats true then maybe he actually has gotten good at shooting threes. I think he has but maybe thats the proof to get people to actually believe it.Go read Randy Peterson interview(twitter) where Bubu mentioned he has been practicing during his dismissal with Jack Sullivan in Ankeny(Kindgom Hoops).
From a chemistry standpoint, bubu should play minimal minutes if any.

I think we all need to get in our cars, go to Target, and try to find the closest Boston Market.
