Brock Purdy

The kid is good prospect but he definitely got some looks from other schools because of supply and demand. It is very much akin to spring basketball recruiting.
But I don't see why anyof it matters. ISU coaches think they found a good one and really that is all that matters. What I think is more interesting is what it means for the other QBs? You typically don't want 2 in the same class. Does this say something about Mitchell or about Moore?

Moore had a very serious knee injury. Re-Al is going to be our Run Option QB, with a possibility of more. Noland had a serious knee injury. I look at it as Brock Purdy taking Jacob Park’s spot.

Purdy reminds me of QB Logan Woodside from Toledo who Campbell recruited. Pretty similar if you watch their tape.
Took a look at Woodside tape and he does resemble Brock Purdy. I like USAToday's description of Woodside: "precision passer with ice in his veins".

Playing multiple guys because of injuries is one thing or if you have a Lanning type that gets a few plays, playing multiple guys just to play multiple doesn't happen.

That's why I think Re-al could see spot duty this fall. Defenses aren't going to worry about Kempt, Noland, or Moore on the zone read. Montgomery may see more daylight with Re-al taking snaps.

Re-al has a good arm too. Nice to have good QBs.

Quick shot I saw of Mrs. Purdy... looked like she's hiding some cardinal under that jacket .....

Nice little program and knowing that there's a strong possibility that he's going to pick up that ISU cap just makes it all the more fun to watch, I'm just alittle giddy, ha.
