Or go up to a 7. With so many bid steals it pushes the bubble up, I think we are seeing one of the play in games **** to a ten seed.So if we end up at two would Nebraska fall to 10 to remain in Omaha.

I need some of you worry warts to explain the Neb in Omaha worry. Why? Haven’t those games been sold out for awhile? Iowa state fans have been buying up tickets for weeks.
It’s crazy to see we are no worse than a 2 and there are this many people scared of ******* Nebraska.

I'm working through building my final Selection Sunday seed list and bracket. Currently have spots 1-24 set (seed lines 1-6).
One interesting development that will pique ISU fans' interest. I have Illinois at 11 and Kansas at 12. Illinois is 479 miles away and a 7:07 drive to Pittsburgh; they are 489 miles and a 6:52 drive to Omaha. I could be wrong but I believe the committee does distance placement based on pure miles, not drive time. Technically, that would place Illinois in Pittsburgh and Kansas in Omaha. But that feels wrong. I could be wrong but I'm guessing Illinois fans would prefer the commute to Omaha versus Pittsburgh. Who knows.

Taking a break to get a workout in and see where Ivy and A-10 finals end up, but here's where I'm at right now. I put it at 20% ISU gets the last 1-seed.

Just to be clear, I had to do some shuffling on first round pod placement. Technically, Kentucky should get SLC and Duke/Bama go to Spokane. But due to BYU only playing on Thu/Sat, they have to be in the East/West region and have to play at a Thu/Sat first weekend site (SLC, Omaha, Pittsburgh, Charlotte). I settled on Illinois going to Pittsburgh, but wouldn't be surprised if they go to Omaha and KU gets Pittsburgh. All depends on how committee technically defines distance (miles vs. drive time vs. as the crow flies).
With Isu the 5 overall why aren’t we out west against uncTaking a break to get a workout in and see where Ivy and A-10 finals end up, but here's where I'm at right now. I put it at 20% ISU gets the last 1-seed.

This is where I am at, I don't think we are ahead on UNC, I just hope to be ahead of Tennessee.Taking a break to get a workout in and see where Ivy and A-10 finals end up, but here's where I'm at right now. I put it at 20% ISU gets the last 1-seed.

Because we are closer to Detroit than LAWith Isu the 5 overall why aren’t we out west against unc
Would be great to get KU out of Omaha to open up some tickets.Taking a break to get a workout in and see where Ivy and A-10 finals end up, but here's where I'm at right now. I put it at 20% ISU gets the last 1-seed.

because we get first picks of regions among the 2 seeds as the 5th overallWith Isu the 5 overall why aren’t we out west against unc

I don't think we will get a 1 seed. If we get a 2 seed in the Midwest or West I will be happy. Just don't put us as the 2 seed in the East. Playing UCONN in Boston would not be great. Especially since UCONN has know for quite awhile now they were heading to Boston and I'm sure have ate up most of the tickets.
If we are the top two seed we will be in Detroit, if we are not the top 2 seed we likely will be in the East. One caveat is if Arizona is 5 and we are 6.Being the top #2 seed and drawing a likely matchup of UConn in Boston in the E8 would be a carbon copy of what happened to the LE team.
I think we are either there in that scenario or the 6th overall in the MW against the 3rd overall Purdue. With Isu the 5 overall why aren’t we out west against unc
We are locked in to the east (if behind Marquette or Tennessee) or the MW if ahead of both. (If we are a 2 seed)I think we are either there in that scenario or the 6th overall in the MW against the 3rd overall Purdue.
Thank Gene Smith for that messBeing the top #2 seed and drawing a likely matchup of UConn in Boston in the E8 would be a carbon copy of what happened to the LE team.
Checking flights and hotels now!I heard that if it's the 1 seed that Iowa State gets shipped to Sydney, Australia and has to play at 9:00 AM Thursday.
