Bracketology 2015...

That's exactly what we deserve at this point, and I wouldn't be shocked if that is where we finished too. No shame in a 5 seed. Playing in Louisville wouldn't be as awful as Seattle or Jacksonville either. We wouldn't even have to play a road game for as far as those predictions go.

That was just a reminder of how much the NCAA tourney is about your matchups rather than seeds. Give me that bracket all day, I don't care what seed we are.

Yep, that isn't a bad draw at all, although I'd prefer getting on the bottom of the bracket to delay a match up with Wisconsin until the Elite 8.

The key for the Cyclones is try to get a 2-5 seed in the West or South. Avoid heavyweights Duke or Kentucky. Don't sweat the USC game too hard, while it stings from a seeding standpoint - Fred's teams peak in March!

We did fall significantly though as Lunardi had us #11 on the S-Curve just last week.

Good place to drop this link. Hasn't updated since the 1st of the year though.

Edit: Once the matrix gets populated, Lunardi is ESPN and Palm is CBS. Lunardi ranks 44th and Palm ranks 52nd in accuracy for "bracketologists" with 3 or more years of data.

5 seed... 6 Big 12 squads making it with Ok St and TCU just on the outside looking in.
5 - ISU
6 - UNI
7- Iowa

This West looking perfect for us also. Louisville YUM to start.
Looks like to get to omaha we would have to be a 8-9.

Number seven. Well, we do have to prove ourselves to him this year after losing two AAs. It is just about winning like our football team found out.

Lunardi's Bracketology is often an embarrassment to college basketball analysts. He brags about his accuracy in bracketology, but he's only accurate because he updates his bracketology just an hour or so before the brackets come out.

Plus we got a long way to go.
