***Bowl Games Thread***

Coastal Carolina had a great season and it’s cool to see a program like that do well. With that said, I was rooting for Liberty last night because I was tired of hearing about how Coastal and really the sunbelt conference was better than us/the big 12.
Yet I still wanted Louisiana to win

Disagree.... they were not the same situations. Liberty could have taken the clock down to a couple secs and kicked the game winning FG versus giving CC the ball back with like a minute left. I have no idea why Liberty wasn't just kneeling? I don't blame Mack at all there..... they shouldn't have even put themselves in that situation and just kneeled instead.

In the game last night, the Raiders were leaving Miami with 20 secs and only needing a FG to win.

And get a special dispensation to play in the championship game because, well, because they LOOK like they are the No. 2 team in the country and it would be unfair to them to penalize them for something they had no control over.

BYU was a good story this season. In a year where some larger programs were excusing themselves from competition, these guys went on the road to play another undefeated G5 on short notice and had one of the games of the year trying to boost their CFP hopes. They lost that game but deserve a lot of credit for maintaining the spirit of competition that this sport is supposed to be about.

Per TOE that wouldn’t be necessary because finding better competition wouldn’t be far to the sport of football. Ha

Well that's 2 out of Top 3 weapons for UF not playing in the Bowl Game vs. OU. Wouldn't surprise me if the other one (Toney) skips out too.
