Bison Football

Your argument is no use in a thread like this. Get your herd together so you're not alone next time.

I looked at some NDSU history. The best team NDSU ever had beat the worst team Minnesota ever had by only 6 points. And they're proud of it? The biggest win in their history? That's pretty sad.

But they won a D-II National Title in the 60's. Don't you know anything about Bison Tradition? It wins games by itself. The players don't even have to come out on the field, because Bison Tradition will kill our players in their sleep.

They look very, very small. If we can't run the ball on them we are in big trouble.

Their linebackers look smaller than your average D1 safety, but the Bison fans said that they are quick, so they must be real good.

Okay, maybe I am not seeing what you guys are seeing, but I don't know how you can tell the players are small from this photo. There are no reference points or anything. Taking a photo up high like that distorts things a bit.

THEY ONLY HAVE SEATING ON 1 SIDE OF THE FARGODOME FOR THE SPRING GAME!

but, don't let the facts (Minn, Ball St, Cen. Mich) get in your delusional ways!

your right, ndsu has a much more historice reputation of beating 3 fbs schools! iowa state has never beaten as many fbs schools as ndsu let alone iowa st has never beaten such quality opponents as the worst gopher team in history and those national powerhouse programs of ball st and central mich...lakesbison is a tool...sell your parents lake home and stay out of minnesota

Hope to see you on here on Sept. 4th so you can receive your well deserved medicine after ISU smokes NDSU. That is if you don't get yourself banned from this site like you did at Bisonville. :biglaugh:

Wait, I missed this gem. How did this NDSU homer get banned from his own site?

I have heard that Bison Tradition once overpowered a troupe of heroes led by Superman, Chuck Norris, Optimus Prime, and Oprah Winfrey just by staring at them.

Yeah, this small guy that is starting for the Eagles at middle linebacker played football at NDSU two years ago. You cyclone fans make fun of NDSU like a bunch of 2nd graders, but I believe it only masks your underlying concern of getting beat on Sept 3rd. Maybe its only a 5% chance, or as much as a 25% chance, but wow wouldn't that sting if the Bison won.........

He's playing for the Eagles and NDSU at the same time? I think that is an NCAA violation. :jimlad:

One of your fellow Bison fans told us directly that the liebackers THIS YEAR are undersized.

...The ref is bigger.

You're right, I didn't notice that. :biglaugh:

I based my assessment on the relative size of their arms, legs, and torso as compared to their height. I assumed that they were an average height of about 6' and thus, looked pretty skinny. More like safeties than LBers. That combined with a Bison report that the LBers are undersized but "quick".

Dude, first of all, there have indeed been a few posters here who have vocalized their legitimate concerns about NDSU. We are a 2-10 team who is breaking in a new coaching staff and who not so long ago lost at home to UNI (and probably should have lost two years in a row). Sound arguments and no one can refute their legitimacy.

For the other fans who are taking swipes at NDSU, it is really only in direct response to your evangelism on a CYCLONE board. Did you really expect to come here and say "Watch out, Clones, here come the BISON!!!" and have everyone react, "By golly, good sir, you are right! I is scared of teh BISONS!"

The fact of the matter is that as much as we fans have the luxury of trivializing you and the team you support so passionately, I guarantee you that the ISU football team is not taking the Bison lightly, and that is what really matters.
