All of the windows on the south side of our house are tinted to reduce passive solar gain*. We get peppered with bird strikes constantly. Usually only once - the bird is typically stunned enough to not do it again, they occasionally don't get up but that is pretty rare. With the windows being tinted you can often see the imprint of the bird, cartoon style.
I don't have any suggestions. We just deal with it because we don't have repeat offenders.
* The "passive solar gain" reference was from an old office I worked in. Building management sent a building wide email requesting we keep the blinds closed in the afternoon to reduce "passive solar gain". Because we were too professional to say "it's ****ing hot in here, close the blinds".
