This sounds like the type of player we need. I agree with another poster that said we don't have a slashing player that can take the ball to the rim. We had it with Wes, but that is "water under the bridge".

Also, wouldn't Kelm and Dykstra be the exact same type of player?
Our front court would consist of Hamilton, Mann, Dykstra, Kelm and Pomlee. Pomlee being the only one with a lot of athleticism, per recruiting analysts.

Top 150 (#130) big man? Yeah, I'll take him. Add him to Jordan Dykstra (#106) and thats some good/talented size we can work with.
CIMD or KG...are Kelm/Dykstra projected at PF or is there a chance either one develops into a C? Are they (theoretically) CB's replacement? Is either one that athletic?
Not much difference between a 4 and 5 for Mac...but probably both 4s. We will have Hamilton and LA doing the dirty work...I think we are going to need some more athletism in the post, but I don't see that coming until 2011 or 12.

That's the only reason I'm aprehensivie about Kelm. We need slashers and athleticism more than ANYTHING on this team. Why just give a scholarship to a good player in a position we don't need?
Not gonna lie, I was a little let down when i opened this up. I was really hoping for it to be something about Ejim. I guess,though, if a rivals 150 guy wants to come ISU i suppose we should accept it,lol. However, it does concern me as that it might mean we are out of the barnes sweep stakes. OR it could mean we are very much apart of it and are thinking we should add a big with our slasher. It could also mean the coaches are expecting an early exit from CB and are looking to replace him. But with all that said i really would like us to try to get both Ejim and barnes.
The staff is uncertain about two players...Brackins and Barnes. One thing is for certain, we need a 3. Hate to say it but if Ejim commits and Kelm commits...somebody is going to get booted because HB is always going to have a spot...Right or wrong, that's the reality of the situation.
Ejim has an offer so i dont know why everyone is freaking out think think that Kelm would mean Ejim is gone. HB is a long shot as everyone knows, but Ejim we have a really really good chance with. I would say Kadima, Dykstra, Kelm, Ejim would be a hell of a class.
who do you think would be the person to get the boot from the staff if HB chooses the hometown?
...and in a normal situation i would have a big problem with that, but this is HB we are talking about. if he picks ISU then some one has got to go no matter what so we can have Harrison
