I heard myself just throw up.
Let's just hope none of those three aren't even near the midwest this weekend

1314 posts... and WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!?! Do you know how CF works? (...I don't really want to know your answer, b/c I don't want to have to explain it to you twice) I realize the what the critics will say and do... But if someone's going to run their mouth and make a point, ...have a valid one for **** sake!

Just saw the push off thanks to a Vine video. That's a push off and OMG Scott Drew's suit.
Thats all you need to know.
The McKay goaltender was the worst call of the game IMO. Ball was barely out of his hand..
right...I just mean NOBODY is getting that call, and we would flip out if that was called against us. Not saying it's right....but that's how they officiate.
as far as a small piece of our fan base....I dunno.....I mean some folks will ignore the massive number of dumb things we did all game....and the main reason we lost was that one call...which...is insane. Not all...but seems some are just looking for bad calls, which oddly are only bad when we lose.
3truefans is more of a ref apologist than Blum and the ESPN crew. That's saying something. It was a bad call but not on the level of the KU game two years ago. I can live with it but that gets called more often than not, 100% of the time in b12 play that's a foul against KU. It's why KU fake wins the league so often.
One other strange call was when BDJ went to the hoop and the guy slid over late they called a blocking foul, the ref even signaled it, and they called it on the floor? Not sure I've ever seen a play that close to the basket called blocking and not reward the offensive player with a trip to the line.
Yep. The sole reason KU has 'fake' won at least a share of the Big 12 title since Friends was still on the air is the officials. It has nothing to do with Self with being a good coach, and having the most talent in the league almost every year.
If you say that the refs didn't cost us the game tonight, you are absolutely the worst. ISU had the lead, Baylor cheated by pushing off in an obvious fashion which got a player open and allowed him to shoot a wide open 15 footer. ISU then got off a desperation runner.
People always talk about how a team could always overcome a call, but in tonight's circumstance all ISU could do was get a rushed jumpshot.
Obviously ISU could have scored more points earlier in the game, but they did enough tonight to win. That's all you should have to do. Is play well enough to win by 1. Tonight, ISU would've had to play well enough to win by 3 to have won in regulation. Simple as that.
They'd have won most of them but some of them are definitely fake. Two years ago they didn't "share" with KSU. KSU won it outright and KU only shared because the officials handed it to them. Did you not watch it? It was obvious.
I'm a KU fan; that call was bad. Hell, I'll even say KU should have lost that game, and subsequently the Big 12 title. You implied that KU wins the league because of the officials 'so often', though. Bad calls happen all the time, throughout the year, to every team. Can you point out another year where KU would have 100%, without a doubt lost the Big 12 because of poor officiating? Do our big donors have the refs paid off? Is there some secret, evil plot within the Big 12 to keep KU champions?

I don't think it's a conspiracy myself, I do believe that referees have a preconceived notion of the quality of basketball a team like Kansas plays and I think that KU gets the benefit of the doubt in a subconcious way, very much the same way home teams get an edge. I don't belive refs call games in favor of the home team on purpose, I just think the preconceived notion of home teams usually playing better nudges them over. A little bit is all it takes to make a big difference.
The biggest thing for KU is that they take their name with them on the road and get an even bigger advantage at home.
I think ISU has built a similar mystique with Hilton Magic and usually gets the calls in Hilton against everyone but Kansas. I think there's a reason for that.

And he slipped because he's not quick enough to stay with Chery (not many are). Our perimeter guys were getting beat off the dribble all night and it killed us, forcing the big guys to help and getting them out of position to rebound.
No way should that have been an offensive foul.
