Big 12 North?

Look for Mizzou to add nonconference games in Texas.

Problem solved. :)
I think you and Mizzoulander are on this board to put on a front. I honestly believe you along with the other Mizzou fans know this is a terrible move and will be second guessed in two years.

Angry much?

I suppose I simply have a higher opinion of your school than you do.

ISU fits the profile of a B1G school.

Do you disagree?

so you came here for the sole purpose to say Iowa State should be in the BIG????????

Sorry but we are Iowa State fans, we aren't dumber than **** here.

It's weird how some fans will claim the Big 12 is the best football conference in one thread (usually talking about Iowa or Big 10) and then in another thread say that the SEC is so much better. Which is it?

I'm on board with my favorite binary friend here. These teams will not suffer as bad a fate as all of you are stating. The Big 12 is one of the best football conferences in the country. It's an insult to the conference to suggest that our football teams move to other conferences and will do poorly. Why will they do poorly? They played in the Big 12. We know how to play football in this conference.

By the way, I don't appreciate Missouri leaving. I think it's a mistake from a pure regional perspective. You have been playing the same teams for close to 100 years, and you are throwing that away because you are mad at another team in the conference.

But, let's not all walk around with hurt butts because Missouri left. They'll perform the same that they perform here, about middle of the pack. Why? Because the Big 12 is one of the best football conferences in the country.

Look, the premise of the the thread was "Which Big 12 North school is next to leave?"

I'm not the one who took it to such an adversarial place.

no, it was you trolling about how better of a situation you guys are in than us... anyone with a working brain knows that.

Someone may correct me, but I thought I heard that aTm would be added to SEC West and Mizzou would just be added to the SEC East, as Auburn and Alabama did not want to part ways.
Yes, you are right. MO will be added to the Grope Division, not the No Hope Division like aTm.

But you were looking for this to happen. Why would any Big XII team leave now with WVU and TCU coming in? It's finally some what stable. Just because the almighty CU, Nebby and MU left, doesn't mean others will follow.

To answer the question, that you already know the answer to, none of the other teams are going to another conference any time soon. No other conference can pay Kansas, Kansas State, and Iowa State what they are going to get paid to be in this conference. When I say pay, I mean a real difference, not 2-3 million dollar difference. Also, the only conference that honestly fits for Iowa State other than the Big 12, is the Big 10. They are not expanding, so why would Iowa State be interested in going somewhere else?

If you're seriously trying to ask this question then you have absolutely no clue about what's going on in the Big 12. The Big 12 is strong and stable now under the new leadership. And keep in mind Missouri was so important to the Big 12 the conference already replaced you before your move to the SEC.

I've never really said either. Although I do think top to bottom, the Big XII would definitely give the SEC a run for it's money this year.

My concern, if I were a Missouri fan, would be the recruiting issues that I believe they will have. They are the Northern Most school in a Southern based conference. Missouri has winters and this isn't just a concern about playing in cold games. Kids don't want to have to walk to class in the cold either. I don't see kids coming to Missouri because they are excited to go there, I see it more of a "Well, I still want to play in the SEC and this is the only school offering me a scholarship." I'm not stupid. Missouri can out recruit us now in the Big XII, they were further south, not as cold and a better football team the last few years. The advantage they had over the North schools, is now gone. I personally think their talent level will drop in the coming years, making it harder to compete in the conference. And as much as I like the Big XII this year, honestly, there are a lot more schools in the SEC that are rich in tradition, tradition Missouri doesn't have.
