Whatever 4 schools we take in...there is a 90% chance Lane Kiffin will be coaching at one of them within 3 years. Just saying.
I remember hearing that racial epithets had been yelled at our players but that may have just been a rumor.

Lol, Colorado State just got smoked by an FCS team. I don't think they are Big 12 material.
went to that game Friday night and would agree. Another factor is there just is no interest in CSU sports. we bought tickets for $19 each in the lower level and there game this week versus Vanderbilt are creeping down to $30-35 range in the same section. I like to go because I’m a football junkyand it’s cheap
There really is no ideal way to crown a regular season champ. Round robin when there are only 9 games is going to produce a tie pretty frequently although it is a very "TRUE" champion. I guess often that tie can go to a head to head, but the Ohio State Committee made it pretty clear that every team but Ohio State has to play at least 13 games to be considered for the playoff.
It works great in international soccer when they play something like 38 perfectly balanced games with 3 point wins and 1 point ties. Tying over the course of that with games resulting in 0, 1 or 3 is rare and goal differential is a fine tie breaker.
Last year we had a virtual tie with Oklahoma but in no way was the league resume worse. We played them to a 1-1 draw and +1 in point differential head to head. They got to dodge @WVU so they actually were only 7-2 in B12 games to ISU's 8-2. Our OK St loss was slightly better than their KSU loss...they are champs mostly because they won a rematch, which is fine but not the same as winning a title game vs a team they hadn't faced all year or having to beat a good team twice in a row like ISU would have needed to do.
The closeness of that likely played into ISU's ranking and Fiesta Bowl bid thankfully.

Pretty sure it wasn't a rumor and Ejim was flipping them off as a response to that.
Their stadium is small but pretty cool unless they’ve built a new one in the last 10 years. Drove past it by accident awhile back.
I get why people wanted 2 with the 2 being Cincy/BYU.
But considering other teams might leave for Big10/Pac/ACC it will be better to add 4 and you can play at 8, 9 or 10 for a season or two without an issue.
Well this is awkward considering a couple of drubbings ISU has taken in the past by FCS teams but was apparently B12 material.
Yes it is a new stadium on campus that opened in 2017 I think. Hold’s 41000. The whole lower section on the left is for students. It was full for the first half but over half empty for the start of the second. Tailgating was okay but nothing like a good ole Cyclone game.
The only way CSU works is if network(s) pay this league a premium to play late night games and CSU can start 9 or 9:30 CST. Maybe the same for BSU. Maybe if there are enough networks/streaming services wanting live content and at times where there isn't much competition. Pete Thamel hinted at that.
If we were in the Mtn West and the B12 was looking to expand in 2016 we wouldn’t have gotten an invite either.
