They take 6 players. Transfers, Juco's, and freshman are eligible, so who do you have making this? We have three great candidates with Kane Hogue and Morris, but in all likelihood, all three won't make it which sucks because they all deserve it.

Marcus Foster
DeAndre Kane
Joel Embiid
Andrew Wiggins
Isaiah Taylor
Ryan Spangler

There are so many great players to choose from for this. This is leaving off Cherry, Woodard, Hogue, Morris, Seldon, hell even Shepherd from TCU.

Is Buddy Hield eligible since he was a redshirt and didn't play last year? If he is elge you would have to put him on the list. Morris won't make it. He should not make it. I love the kid but the rest of those guys are awesome and he is just very good right now.

I think it would be fair to take Kane off this list as he will most likely get All Big12, and then give his spot on the rookie team to Morris.

People also need to talk about how he locked down Harris last night. Great defense reminiscient of Babb.

If you are going there, you might as well give away at least one of the slots that Embiid and Wiggins are taking since at least one of them are probably going to be All Big 12 first team as well.

Last year, Smart and McLemore were both All-Rookie and 1st team All-Big12, so I see them picking the top 6 newcomers no matter their other awards although I do see where your coming from. You could argue for Morris over Taylor, but I think MM will be overlooked as he isn't much of a scorer.

Hield played most of the year last year -- he was just injured at the end.

Spangler, Wiggins and Kane are locks. The other three positions are up for grabs. Monte could sneak in their as he became a starter at beginning of the conference season. The argument could perhaps be made that he has had the best freshman point guard season yet in the B12 outside of huge points and rebounds. He has shown what a point guard does: control the ball and do not make mistakes.
