One of the cooler nicknames that has an absolutely stupid story behind it is Calvin "Megatron" Johnson Jr. of the Detroit Lions. Roy Williams supposedly coined the nickname after seeing the Transformers movie, remarking that Calvin had hands as big as Megatron's. For some reason, it stuck.
