Not here to gloat... then whats it called in ku tongue. I wish you guys a loss to us.
I would take Beshears over either of these guys. We need a slot player like Beshears
Very true, but there is this thing called depth that is nice to have. Also any time you go 4 wide, you end up with 2 slot receivers. 5 wide requires 3 slot guys. Sometimes you might want to split a TE or H-back in one of the slots, but usually you prefer a quick guy who can make plays in the open field.
You mean, like Josh Lenz is supposed to be? Or Lonzie Range? Or, if you go back to my original point, Mike Lang is listed as running a 4.36, and Billy Foster is hardly Swiss cheese.
If Beshears recommits, fine, otherwise we seem to have plenty of alternatives. And some the coaches may (or may not) like better.
However, I do really hope that we don't often go with the full, five wideout spread. That would be a criminal waste of our running back talent.
Watch Beshears video and tell me if we have anybody on our team that is of his mold. I love Darks. I think he is currently our best WR, but he isn't the same type of WR as Beshears
Darks = Hines Ward
Beshears = Desean Jackson
Obviously neither are to those guys levels, but that is who I would compare their game to. Darks will get thrown to more and be the more complete WR. Beshears will be the guy that opens up the offense by making people chase him across the middle of the field
You seen him play? I hope he is and I hope we get him, just not sure how you say he is much much better. If we get Lang, I wonder how much that helps us w/ Marry
Fine then, but now I'll ask, have you seen film on Foster or Lang? Either of those could become the same style of player. With better size.
I have seen them. They are good but neither possess the quickness that Beshears has. Key word is quickness! We have guys w/ speed but aren't as good side to side
