Baylor Predictions

I'm hoping for something of a 35-28 finish. Could go either way IMO.

I like this quote from a Baylor fan:

Yes, there is a lot of Bear fan angst, but ISU also played Kansas tough and have a good running game. It's their homecoming and on the road for the Bears, where we are less than impressive, record wise. Oh, and Vegas favors ISU. Other than that, it's a slam dunk for BU."

Logic and sarcasm. I like it.

Passing game continues to come together. A-Rob if healthy, will light up the scoreboard. ISU 28 BU 10

42-35 ISU wins a high scoring game, luckly we don't have to kick any field goals and actually make all of the PAT's

Execution is one thing, but play selection is another. I feel the play selection against KU was top notch and was the biggest factor behind the good execution and increased confidence we had on offense. If we mix up the plays like we did against KU we have a good shot at winning.

Now... we just need our defense to step up and make Baylor pay for every pass with punishing hits (and great tackling!).

I'm not really understanding the folks that think that we'll score less than 20? We've done that once this season on our QB's worst career game. I think this game is going to be a shoot-out, but at the end, ISU prevails by 2 scores or more.

Combined with this nugget from the BU board, should spell a win for ISU:

Becuase of this: "Baylor is 7-0 in the Briles era when allowing 21 points or fewer and 0-10 when allowing more than 21 points."

Oh yeah, ISU wins 27-24.
