Would not look very good for ISU, especially not an instate kid.McD needs to jump on talent early, and at the time Dykstra was highly ranked. That said, no one has been proven wrong. All we know is that McD is willing to let a kid be on scholarship even if he is not committed to being a Big 12 athlete. Thankfully Dykstra did what is best for both parties. If I was McD I would have pulled the offer.
