Nickelback...Get a nice loud outdoor stereo system, maybe blast some cat meows -or an even larger dog barking sound. Or some 40's polka
It is a statement of fact. Any neighbor who leaves a barking dog outside is being inconsiderate.I don’t know - this can go so many ways…just like everything else in life.
People get annoyed because someone pulls out in front of them while the person behind them was annoyed because they didn’t go fast enough.
Some people get annoyed because people are here illegally sucking away our tax dollars while others are annoyed that people aren’t allowed to roam about the world freely.
Then you’ve got people annoyed because people are taking too many items to the self checkout while others are annoyed because a person takes up a checker with only five items…or because they’re writing a check.
People from a hundred years ago would call us all soft and self-centered…and they’d probably not be wrong.
Actually, if you can get a shot just filled with powder, many times a shotgun sound will scare the dogs and quiet them. Do it a couple times when walking out side and the dogs may start to quiet down when you go outside. No idea what the neighbors will do, but the dogs will probably stop barking.A shotgun?
This is what I meant but apparently people thought I meant you should shoot the dogs.Actually, if you can get a shot just filled with powder, many times a shotgun sound will scare the dogs and quiet them. The specs on this are 350' manual or 75' activated, so you'd have to put it near the fence line, better go with the camo option and hang it on a tree. Also says it can take like 3 weeks to work, but has 60 day return policy, so shouldn't be difficult to find out for yourself and if it doesn't work just return it.I should have started this thread with this picture and asked if anyone has experience with it, and does it deter barking from say 150 feet. Anyone? Thanks!View attachment 168112
Shooting dogs isn’t uncommon you know. This is what I meant but apparently people thought I meant you should shoot the dogs.

I disagree. I might hold myself to that standard, but I wouldn’t believe that broadly. Especially in a rural area. I might honestly expect that would be reasonably allowed/a benefit of living in that setting. It is a statement of fact. Any neighbor who leaves a barking dog outside is being inconsiderate.
Rural, yes. Anywhere else, no.I disagree. I might hold myself to that standard, but I wouldn’t believe that broadly. Especially in a rural area. I might honestly expect that would be reasonably allowed/a benefit of living in that setting.
When I shot one it turned into our minister.I shot a werewolf once, but by the time I had caught up to it, it turned back into my neighbor's dog.
