Barking Dog Deterrent

It is a statement of fact. Any neighbor who leaves a barking dog outside is being inconsiderate.
Actually, if you can get a shot just filled with powder, many times a shotgun sound will scare the dogs and quiet them. Do it a couple times when walking out side and the dogs may start to quiet down when you go outside. No idea what the neighbors will do, but the dogs will probably stop barking.
This is what I meant but apparently people thought I meant you should shoot the dogs.
The specs on this are 350' manual or 75' activated, so you'd have to put it near the fence line, better go with the camo option and hang it on a tree. Also says it can take like 3 weeks to work, but has 60 day return policy, so shouldn't be difficult to find out for yourself and if it doesn't work just return it.

I disagree. I might hold myself to that standard, but I wouldn’t believe that broadly. Especially in a rural area. I might honestly expect that would be reasonably allowed/a benefit of living in that setting.
A 12 gauge, and if you’d like something a little less messy antifreeze… And yes, I have a dog and yes, she barks incessantly and no, I would never do those things, but still….
Do not poison a dog with antifreeze. It is a cruel method. How about not poisoning them at all?
This was not a dog barking problem but still an inconsiderate dog owner issue.
We have a group of friends that goes clear back to when our kids in college now were in pre-school together. One of the families had an event where we - along with quite a few other people were invited over. They have a couple of dogs including one that I would characterize as "kicking dog" sized. This dog was in the house (this was an outside and inside event). When I went inside the dog didn't like me and kept going after my ankles - just pesty, right? Well it also started nipping at my bare ankles. The owner took the dog to another part of the house. Later the dog finds me again and starts going after my ankles even scratching them with his teeth. I tell the owner and she again takes the dog away again apologizing that the dog is never aggressive but she still doesn't lock the dog in a room or anything. The third time the dog actually nips at my ankle hard enough to draw blood. Owner sees this and I tell my wife it is time for us to leave. As we are saying our goodbyes and leaving another guest informs me that the dog has bitten her before as well and owner saw it happen.
I refuse invites to this house. If they don't have the courtesy to lock the dog up when it is being aggressive to their guests, I don't need to attend their events.
So get a clue, everybody. If your dog is aggressive, even if it is out of character, respect your guests to remove the animal from the situation for the remainder of the visit. If the dog has a history of doing this, respect your guests enough to lock it up before they arrive, even if the dog is "too little to do any harm".
And I love dogs...
