Audi Crooks to Transfer

I will go back a bit more. Danny Harris in the 400 hurdles. Won the silver medal and was the only guy to beat Edwin Moses in like 15 years. I believe he was still at ISU or had just graduated.
I remember watching him run down a Nebraska I back from across the field after he was cut to the ground at the LOS. Looked like one of those interceptor missiles.

Wait a minute. Are you that guy? Way back when, there was a poster named "Knownothing"

I mean, the ones that matter most are at the end of the season/in the tourney. Nobody really cares what the percentages were in our undefeated non-con against the sisters of the poor.
Just to be clear, we've gone from:

"Audi never got any help"

to

"Audi didn't get any help in this one specific game"

Where will the goalposts move to next.

Who said she never got ANY help? Would have had a lot better chance to continue the season if the others didn't **** the bed in the tournament, though. You know, the games that matter the most?

Do the first 5. And remember we’re talking nationally relevant. Not who Iowa State fans recall as relevant. But truly talked about nationally by the talking heads.
Just off the top of my head, and by a mile.

Cael Sanderson
Dan Gable
Brock Purdy
Troy Davis
George Niang

and so many more. That is all at their time at ISU, not just after.

What people need to remember is volume also. What are people paying attention to is important. You can talk a lot about women’s basketball, golf, gymnastics, cross country and people wil hear it for a split second and not pay attention.

You have a lot bigger audience paying attention to football and MBB. A small blurb about one of those sports will be noticed and read way more than others.

Man, you work really hard at this stuff. I'm still waiting to hear about all the people getting into WBB for free.

I can't speak to Cael, Gable, and Davis. To call Purdy and Niang nationally relevant to their sport while they were at ISU seems like a large overstatement. They mean a lot to us, but their celebrity in their respective sport was not more than Audi's.

I worked for the student sports TV show and I promise you Sanderson was hardly talked about.
