Came looking for Audi news...wrong thread I guess.
No this is the place just got off on a tangent due to comments made about what effect Audi has/will have on ISU's reputation
Can we just let this thread die a natural death!?
Clark is in another stratosphere than Audi.

Well once she commits to her new school it should die down a lot. Lots of us are interested to see where she ends up. I actually thought her announcement would be by now. I was wrong.
Just to be clear, we've gone from:
"Audi never got any help"
to
"Audi didn't get any help in this one specific game"
Where will the goalposts move to next.
Who said she never got ANY help? Would have had a lot better chance to continue the season if the others didn't **** the bed in the tournament, though. You know, the games that matter the most?

Cael Sanderson
Dan Gable
Brock Purdy
Troy Davis
George Niang
and so many more. That is all at their time at ISU, not just after.
What people need to remember is volume also. What are people paying attention to is important. You can talk a lot about women’s basketball, golf, gymnastics, cross country and people wil hear it for a split second and not pay attention.
You have a lot bigger audience paying attention to football and MBB. A small blurb about one of those sports will be noticed and read way more than others.
Man, you work really hard at this stuff. I'm still waiting to hear about all the people getting into WBB for free.
I can't speak to Cael, Gable, and Davis. To call Purdy and Niang nationally relevant to their sport while they were at ISU seems like a large overstatement. They mean a lot to us, but their celebrity in their respective sport was not more than Audi's.
I worked for the student sports TV show and I promise you Sanderson was hardly talked about.
Oh, I figured you’d read that. I said I thought the top two levels got in, but then I was corrected and I guess you’re reading kind of skips around.
I read Maryland quit recruiting her when they got the commitment from a transfer from Stanford. Not sure what options she is still pursuing.
