I’d lose 1000 Audi’s compared to reliving Niang or Jefferson getting hurt, the Blarge call in MI, and our FB injuries.Yep I agree with Brent Blum: “losing Audi Crooks was a gut punch of all gut punches.”
How about the other 31 games we played? Guess they don't fit your narrative.Or, maybe just a little better than 3-22.
Perhaps we should talk about the one game Audi didn't play in: UNI. ******* wasted them no problem. You are really stuck on one game.

People say a lot of things.People have said our attendance will drop due to Audi leaving. I wonder how many people attend because they get in for free. Large donors get free passes, jr cyclone club gets in free I believe, students get in free, probably some others. I wonder how many you would lose if ISU charged $100 or so for season tickets?
The free tickets are a reason I don’t think attendance will drop or if it does, just slightly.

Any discussion around attendance decline needs to include the average age of attendee at WBB games. As each season goes by, there is a high probability that many may not be able to attend games any more...We have the numbers pretty well gamed so they will not "officially" fall much. The actual cheeks-in-the-seats? Well, that might be a different story. A big game next year might be the 6K we drew hosting the opening round a few years back playing Georgia. We won't have a home game with Iowa nor any conference draws. We won't be in contention so there won't be a repeat of years back when Baylor would be coming to town. With the league's down status, no Top Ten teams and or "must see" star power) we really don't have any good rivals left.
Still, our real people at the game versus "sold" tickets is still good regardless off an decline If we claim 10K and only have 5K that 5K is still top 25. 5K isn't bragging rights level but it is a solid base that is better than most P4 programs.
Not sure why that matters. I understand why older fans choose the women’s game. Smaller crowds easier access, but it’s the programs responsibility to crow their base.Any discussion around attendance decline needs to include the average age of attendee at WBB games. You get free season tickets but you bought season ones? I’m assuming that’s cause you wanted lower ball and not the general admission tickets??? Last year we paid $469.40 for 2 season tickets, including fees.
We don't get free tickets, and have bought WBB since we moved to Ames. You get free season tickets but you bought season ones? I’m assuming that’s cause you wanted lower ball and not the general admission tickets?
