When did we cut our WBB spending? Per Jamie, we have $20.5 million to go around, with $13 million for football and $7 million for MBB. So, should Jamie take away a million from both football and MBB and give that to WBB? Sorry, you aren't taking money away from the TWO programs that MAKE money for the athletic department.
The whole team didn't leave because they weren't going to get paid. Tanke, Wilson, Taulelei all left because they were all going to ride the bench.
Where did you see we were cutting our WBB funds. We were at 750k roughly last year and I've been told it will be a little more this year 800 to 900k. So I do not belive we cut any funding to WBB.
I believe some players left for money but I also think playing style was as much to blame....Audi we all know is a wonderful human being but our play style since she got here has been boring.....guards stand on the wings and lob it to Audi 90% of the time.
Again, I'm sure Audi, Jada, and Addy for sure will make more wherever they end up (Jada is going to get PAID at LSU) but the playing style I think is more to blame for the amount of departures we had.
I agree the defense was mostly the problem all season.
Audi in the article is quoted as saying she wants a deeper run in March, and the guards straight up did not hit from the 3 as well as they should have. In both those games they were getting pretty good looks too.
The problem as you pointed out is defense, if we got down, we could never catch up because we would only rarely generate stops.
I just disagree with those saying she's throwing her teammates under the bus, she is simply stating what she is looking for from a potential landing spot. She was the last one to leave and I think she would have stayed if Addy and Jada stayed.
Bill's numbers are basically Fran at Iowa... Also, not sure why a top 60 tempo was the plan when you have a dominant big who isn't great at running the floor
I am not going to say who told me this, but 2 people that absolutely know, there was a lot of frustration from a contingent of players with 1 player.
As I stated before group A went in the portal as a result. The individual saw there was no team left around her and chose to leave as well

I could out rebound her in a wheelchair. I’m a 54 year old man who’s a long way from paying weight. That’s sad.

There were grumbles back when Ashley Joens came back for a 5th year that some other members of the team weren't thrilled with that, likely because it meant another year of post-ups by the star while everyone else watches and gets a kickout once or twice a game. I'd imagine it was a similar situation with Audi, but Audi doesn't call those plays / set that offense.
This isnt just an Audi thing on offense. Ashley and Bridget had very similar styles on offense. Dump it into them and watch them A) Make the shot B) Get fouled C) Double teamed and they kick it out D) Fall on the ground and turn it over.
There is a website out there anyone here can join for $10 that has a LOT of intel about different teams all across the country. The head of that website is known for always knowing where kids are going to commit before it's public. Their intel about recruiting and the $$$ details of commitments is legend.
People who belong to that site are requested to not run to a message board and blab everything...so I'm not going to do that here. But when it comes to the ISU situation, there is a LOT of insider info about what went down...suffice to say it's become clear that there were major locker room issues.
There are two sides to every story of course (in this case, literally)....again, not my position to break all the details here, but anyone with $10 can go read quite a bit about it right now.
This type of play is just not an ISU issue. Watch almost any good team and you see the offense going through just a select few players. When things go right great results/wins but when they don't you see our season.
I haven't watched it but for anyone that has, would the Unrivaled league be a better fit for Audi than the WNBA? I would image a 3v3 with no running down the court be in her wheelhouse. She has been pretty good one v one on other centers (Lee and Prince come to mind).

You can’t keep a team happy with one person having that much of the $ and attention without winning.
It’s even worse when it’s clear that that person isn’t as dedicated or putting in max effort.
Sure but this is the ONLY offense ISU runs. Other teams are probably mixing it up a lot more than Bill is. Great teams do play from the inside out. This is much more than that.
This reeks of a man who also thinks he could land a plane with no training or beat a Williams sister in tennis.
Her wanting to be surrounded by better shooters is pretty hilarious. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen her pass out of the post.
