Assistant Coaches

Was not impressed with his ability to throw the ball. There were a number of open WRs he missed...he makes those throws, they beat ISU.
Yeah, I don't know if he's that good, but I'll trust the coaches until they prove me wrong

These coaches are all young guys on the offensive side of the ball with solid pedigrees and that is going to be a good thing with respect to their daily coaching ability and relatability as recruiters. But the biggest skill Campbell had in his time here was their ability to identify under the radar talent. I haven't seen much in the bios on that side of the ball to show me this is a strength yet. This is not meant to be a criticism, just something I've noted.
Legit observation, but did we know that was going to be a strong point of Campbell & Co?
I don't remember.

I was impressed that Campbell and company had recruited at least a couple NFL players to Toledo in their time there. You never know how that's going to translate, but in retrospect it was a good indicator here.

Back then the main thing the staff was known for was recruiting.
